Grapefruit/ Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

2½ Grapefruits

4 Oranges

1½ cups fresh Strawberries (frozen can also be used)

2 tsp of Honey

Preparation:

Take 2 of the grapefruits and the Oranges and juice them. Then place the grapefruit juice and the orange juice, along with 1 cup of the strawberries and the honey in a blender. blend them till smooth, and strain into glasses. Strain only if you don’t like pulp. Section the remaining grapefruit half and slice the strawberries. Then top the drink with these to make a nice presentation.

Preparation Time:5-6 minutes

Serves:makes 2 servings

Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

4 large Strawberries

1 freshly juiced Orange

1 Banana, sliced

1 tbsp Honey

¼ cup of Yoghurt Dash of Vanilla

Preparation:

Juice the orange, Remove the stem the strawberries and slice the banana. You then add all of these ingredients into the blender and blend them till smooth.

Preparation Time:

5-6 minutes

Serves:makes 2 servings

Tropical Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 medium sized Papaya

1 Banana

1 ripe Mango

1½ cups Pineapple juice

A dash of Vanilla

1 cup Vanilla yoghurt

Preparation:

Remove the seed, peel the papaya and the mango, and cut them into pieces. Slice the banana and add along with the rest of the ingredients into a blender, and blend them till smooth. It will be nice to serve chilled, or over ice as you prefer.

Banana Pineapple Orange Juice Delight

 Ingredients:

2/3 cup Chopped kale leaves

1 Peeled banana

1 cup Pineapple pieces

½ cupChopped spinach

1 cup Orange juice

1 ½ cup Water

Preparation:

Fill the jar of the blender with chopped kale leaves, banana and pineapple pieces and chopped spinach.  Step 2, add the fresh orange juice and blend it to get a smooth touch. Step 3, After the fruits and vegetables are blended, check the consistency of the green smoothie. If it is very thick then add water or orange juice to make it more liquid and if it is more liquid then add banana to make it thick.

Preparation Time:5-6 minutes

Serves: makes 1- 2 servings

Cucumber Apple Mix

Ingredients :

1 Cup Chopped cucumber

1 Cup Chopped apple pieces

1 Cup Chopped spinach leaves

¼ cup Mint leaves (optional)

1 ¼ cup Water

Preparation:

Fill the jar of the blender with chopped cucumber, apple and spinach. You can also add little mint to give flavor. Step 2add water and blend it to get a lump free texture. After the fruits and vegetables are blended, check the consistency of the green smoothie. If it is very thick then you can add more water to make it liquid and if it is more liquid then add cucumber to make it thick.

Preparation Time:5-6 minutes

Serves: makes 1- 2 servings
